Facilities include:

  • Boat Ramp: concrete ramp provides access to Wabash River at south end of park property
  • Camping: 130 modern (electric & water) sites; 70 primitive sites; available first-come, first-served (no reservations); modern restrooms (with showers) in modern campground; port-o-lets in primitive campground
  • Cross-Country Skiing: beginner to challenging trails; ski rental available
  • Disc Golf: 18 hole course; disc rental available at gate house
  • Dumping Station
  • Fishing / Ice Fishing: Lake Trimer open for fishermen all year long; fish for bass, crappie or bluegill in Old Kenith Stone Quarry lake during "off season"; electric trolling motors only permitted on lakes; ice fishing available on either lake when ice is thick enough
  • Hiking: 7-10 miles of multiple-use trails
  • Ice Skating: on quarry lake in winter; skates available at no charge
  • Miniature Golf: 9 hole putt-putt course; open weekends; nominal fees
  • Mountain Biking: 7-10 miles of multiple-use trails for all skill levels; activity fee required
  • Naturalist / Recreational Programs: weekend activities from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day
  • Recreation Building: ping pong, air hockey, board games, etc.
  • Scuba Diving: in clear, spring-fed quarry lake; weekends or by appointment; run by Diving Den of Kokomo (765-452-1034); air tank refills; diving & snorkeling equipment rentals available
  • Shelters / Pavilions (Reservable)
  • Sledding
  • Swimming / Beach: lifeguards on duty; concession stand; handicapped accessible ramp to beach at quarry; bathhouse (no showers)
  • Snowmobiling: allowed only on park roads and service roads (not on trails)
  • Wildlife Observation: wildlife observation building, prairies
