The Knobstone Trail will be temporarily closed between mile markers 44d, 46s and 46d for public safety due to a scheduled timber harvest on Jackson-Washington State Forest in Washington County. A re-route is in place between 43d and 46s, and another between 46d and south of 48d to allow continued use of the Knobstone Trail in this general area. View map below for details. Once the harvest is complete, the Knobstone Trail will resume its original path. NOTE: The trail returned to its normal path on July 16, 2019.
