WCC Membership

The interest in paddling has been exploding over the last several years. Joining a club is the perfect way to learn about the sport. So join the club, meet some new people, and HAVE FUN PADDLING!

The WCC has set recruitment of new members as its #1 goal. We want to increase our membership so that we can get some new people to pick up the torch and help with some of the work that is necessary to make a paddling club work. For this reason, we are offering FREE MEMBERSHIP, with NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

Membership offers something for paddlers of all interest and skill levels. Here are just some of the benefits:

  • Monthly newsletter detailing paddling events and issues
  • Get help shuttling your boat.
  • Borrow a boat or check out some new equipment. (Several of our members are terminal gear heads.)
  • Use the groups accumulated knowledge to figure out the best places to paddle.
  • Participate in Paddling Instruction Clinics
  • Enjoy 25+ organized cruises (with lots of paddling time for everybody)
  • Meet people that share like interests
  • Make new friends (perhaps for life)
  • Enjoy Family Trips
  • Discover whitewater adventures. (There are some whitewater runs in Indiana. We know where they are and when they are running.)
  • Get Conservation Updates. (We work with The Wildcat Guardians, a conservation group dedicated to protecting the Wildcat River.
