WILDCAT GUARDIANS
Programs

Adopt-A-River: (Director: Mark Rowe, 765-868-4704, mrowe5000@aol.com)
Our primary program of stewardship for Wildcat Creek. Guardian Section Coordinators regularly visit their adopted section of the creek, working with local landowners whenever possible, to pick up trash and check general conditions.

Discover Wildcat Creek: (Director: Chuck Weis, 765-477-7948, cweis733@aol.com)
The Discover Wildcat Creek program is an opportunity to help communities throughout the watershed experience the beauty of the creek environment. Upon request, Guardians escort people on canoe trips through Wildcat country. These trips are a way of teaching others to respect the creek and join us in protecting this wonderful natural resource.

Education/Outreach: (Director: Carrie Kinsey, 765-868-8265, carrieck@aol.com)
Our Guardian education programs strive to increase public awareness of environmental issues in the Wildcat Creek Watershed and to motivate others to appreciate and protect our natural resources.

Water Quality Monitoring: (Director: Sarah Brichford, 765-883-8319, sbrichford@yahoo.com)
Guardians regularly visit specific sites along the creek and major tributaries to take water samples and conduct test of water quality. These tests include chemistry and survey of aquatic organisms.
